W artykule przedstawiono zmiany struktury przestrzennej i funkcjonowania systemu krajobrazowego terenu górniczego Władysławów związane z kolejnymi etapami odkrywkowej eksploatacji węgla brunatnego. Analizie poddano powierzchniową budowę geologiczną, ukształtowanie terenu oraz jego pokrycie (płaty gruntów ornych, lasów, łąk, zbiorników wodnych naturalnych i antropogenicznych, obszary antropogeniczne), a zmiany tych elementów scharakteryzowano w ujęciu ilościowym i jakościowym. Funkcjonowanie krajobrazu określono na podstawie analizy wielkości i natężenia głównych strumieni materialno- energetycznych w geosystemie górniczym (energia elektryczna, węgiel brunatny, nadkład, wody)
Impact of lignite exploitation on the spatial structure and functioning of landscape systems – a case study of the opencast Władysławów
This paper presents changes in the spatial structure and functioning of the landscape system of the mining area Władysławów related to the successive stages of opencast lignite exploitation. The surface geological structure, terrain, and its cover (patches of arable land, forests, meadows, natural and anthropogenic water reservoirs, anthropogenic areas) were analyzed, and changes in these components in terms of quantity and quality characterized. The functioning of the landscape was determined on the basis of the size and intensity of the main material and energy streams of mining geosystems (electricity, lignite, overburden, water)
