Artykuł przedstawia historię dwóch katastrof wodnych, do których doszło w szybie Mühlberg w Iwinach. Należał on do ośrodka górniczego, powstającego w tym miejscu na zlecenie koncernu Towarzystwo Górnicze Spadkobiercy Georga Gieschego (Bergwerks- Gesellschaft Georg von Giesches Erben) z Wrocławia. Pierwsza, mniejsza, miała miejsce, w marcu, a druga, rozleglejsza, we wrześniu 1944 roku. Ponadto uwzględniono proces budowy szybu, przyczyny zalania, plan odwodnienia oraz skutki tych działań.

The following notice presents the history of two water disaster that occurred in the Mühlberg shaft in Iwiny. It belonged to the mining center, which was built there on behalf of the Bergwerks-Gesellschaft Georg von Giesches Erben from Wrocław.
The first one smaller took place in March and the second one more extensive was in September of 1944. In addition included the shaft construction process, causes of flooding, drainage plan and the effects of these activities.
