Autorstwa:dr hab. inż. Lidia Gawlik, prof. dr hab. inż. Eugeniusz Mokrzycki

W artkule przedstawiono wykonane analizy dotyczące możliwych kierunków rozwoju polskiego sektora elektroenergetycznego w perspektywie do 2050 roku.

Scenarios of coal utilization in power engineering in Poland in the light of EU climate policy

This paper presents the analyses of potential directions of development of the Polish power engineering sector up to 2050. The assessment was aimed at the future demand for hard coal and lignite which should depend on many conditions, such as the decisions of the EU referring to the level of prices of the titles for CO2 emission and the scope of future objectives of using the renewable energy sources. Furthermore, the impact of the CCS technology and the potential development of shale gas exploitation in Poland on the future coal use in power engineering was presented
